Retired Climbing Rope Belt with Harness Buckle - Sustainable Belt for Climbers
Our repurposed climbing rope belts are carefully handmade from retired climbing ropes and buckles from retired climbing harnesses, we work hard to give this hardware a new purpose once it's reached the end of its life.
Our sustainable belts are made to last, from hard wearing materials and a backed up stitch used to sew the entire belt, meaning you can trust them to have your back (and hold up your trousers) for a long, LONG time.
These couldn't be a better gift for climbers, boulderers, and lovers of the outdoors!
Buckle
We have 4 different colours of buckle all sourced from retired climbing harnesses. All belts will come done up the way they intend to be used.
All of our ropes are cleaned before being turned into a new product, we use an environmentally friendly detergent and clean all ropes with cold water.
Hand made to order by Ray's Climbing.

One of a kind!
Due to the nature of using repurposed and recycled materials we often produce single items or small batches that are unlikely to ever be created again. Once we run out of the retired rope we use to craft your belt we wont have that design back unless we recieve the same rope as a donation - we NEVER buy ropes new.
This process also helps reduce waste and stops excess materials going to landfill.
Rope Variations
Our stock of ropes is changing all of the time - this means you will receive a belt made from the colour categories that you pick, but it may not be the exact same ones displayed in the listing pictures. If you would like SPECIFIC colours / designs of rope please contact us before hand to discuss!
Additionally, in using retired equipment many of our ropes may have small imperfections such as marks on the surface. We do our best to use the best looking parts of the rope on the surface and to hide any imperfections, however, since we are zero waste we will often try to use these parts of the rope anyway so you may find small imperfections on your item. This will not affect the quality of the item!
